The Bbq Shack Opened in June 2004 Under Ownership of Steve and Janelle Carpenter in A Trailer Just Down From Its Current Location, Off of First Street. Offering Only Outside Seating and A Drive Thru. in September Renovation Started On an Old Concrete Building That Once Long Ago Used To Be A Dairy Queen Which Now Is Our Current Location. With the Grand Opening Slated for September 2004, Controversy Began To Stir About Our Pigs. This Delayed Our Opening; in Spite of This We Remained Focused On Opening Our Doors for Business. in December 2004 We Reached A Compromise With the City.
